Teach practical cybersecurity concepts to Tekskillup students through live sessions, hands-on exercises and guided projects. We’re looking for someone who can make cybersecurity easy to understand and practical for beginners.

About the role

Tekskillup is looking for a Cybersecurity Course Instructor to support learners through practical, beginner-friendly cybersecurity training.
You will lead live online sessions, explain key cybersecurity concepts in simple terms, guide students through practical exercises and help them build confidence using common cybersecurity tools.
The focus is not just on theory. We want learners to understand how cybersecurity works in real situations through demonstrations, labs, assignments and small projects.

What you'll do

  • Deliver live online cybersecurity classes
  • Teach cybersecurity fundamentals and best practices
  • Guide students through practical labs and exercises
  • Create simple assignments, quizzes and projects
  • Explain technical concepts in a beginner-friendly way
  • Support students during their learning journey
  • Provide feedback on assignments and projects
  • Help improve course materials and lesson structure
  • Introduce learners to relevant cybersecurity tools
  • Encourage practical and ethical approaches to cybersecurity

What we're looking for

  • Good understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals
  • Practical experience with cybersecurity tools or projects
  • Ability to explain technical topics clearly
  • Good communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable teaching beginners
  • Knowledge of networking, Linux and security concepts
  • Understanding of ethical hacking and responsible security practices
  • Ability to lead practical online sessions
  • Reliable and willing to support learners

Nice to have

  • Previous teaching, mentoring or training experience
  • Experience with Kali Linux
  • Knowledge of penetration testing tools
  • Experience with Wireshark, Nmap, Burp Suite or similar tools
  • Cybersecurity certifications or relevant qualifications
  • Experience working in IT, networking, SOC or cybersecurity roles
  • Experience creating cybersecurity labs or projects
